Low Carb Sparkling Sangria

sparklingsummersangriaI adore day drinking!  An afternoon sipping on mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, anything out of a blender with an umbrella, sweet sangria, refreshing rose’, bubbly Champagne, or even an ice cold beer.  But let’s face it, even the most confident among us looks in the mirror occasionally and says, “Sister, you’ve been sippin’ a few too many high calorie concoctions, it’s time to cut back.”

For that reason, and for those among us who have the willpower to follow a Keto lifestyle more regularly than I do, I offer a #KetoFriendly solution that I found a few years ago on a site called: I BREATHE I’m Hungry.  It serves 9 and comes in at 50 calories with just 1 gram of carbs:

Sparkling White Sangria

  • 1/2 Cup Pureed Fresh or Frozen Peaches
  • 1/4 Cup Torani Sugar Free Mango Favored Syrup
  • 1/4 Cup Bourbon (I like Maker’s Mark 46 with it’s hint of Vanilla)
  • 1/2 Cup Vodka (I prefer Grey Goose)
  • 2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar Substitute (I use Swerve)
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Lime Juice
  • 24 oz Mandarin Flavored Seltzer Water

Combine all of the ingredients in a large pitcher and stir well. Serve over ice. Garnish with raspberries and/or slices of fresh peach if desired.
