Most people assume, incorrectly, that chilled white wines are best enjoyed in the warmer months of the spring and summer. When featured in the festive drinks below, nothing could be further from the truth!
The Refresher (Filini Bar & Restaurant – Chicago)
- 7 Red Seedless Grapes
- 2 Mint Leaves
- 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
- 1 1/4 oz Vanilla Vodka
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Chardonnay
- Crushed Ice
- Prosecco
Muddle grapes, mint, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add vodka, lemon juice, wine, and ice. Shake and strain into a fluted champagne glass. Top with Prosecco. Garnish with two grapes.
Moscatini (Maureen Petrosky)
- 1 oz Moscato
- 1 oz Vodka
- Crushed Ice
- Orange Twist
Combine first three ingredients in a shaker then strain into a martini glass and garnish with a twist. Optional: Dip rim of glass in orange juice & water mixture and then sugar. #ThisGirlLovesHerCocktails
